Different teams. There's the "ceph project" and the "centos storage sig". Of course, individuals may be contributing to both efforts. > What's the difference, -1 and -2 are newer than -0? Because they're different repositories with different build histories you pretty much need to rely on the package's changelog if you want to know what those numbers indicate. > I see Ceph container image is built with packages from [1]. > If I install Ceph on CentOS Stream 9, which repo should I use? > > [1] http://download.ceph.com/rpm-18.2.4/el9/x86_64/ > [2] https://mirror.stream.centos.org/SIGs/9-stream/storage/x86_64/ceph-reef/ > That's up to you. If you want to use ceph daemons installed from packages you can choose one of either source. If you want to use orchestration with cephadm you'll default to the container images build by the ceph project. However, you are not forced to use those images either. If you are new to Ceph I suggest trying cephadm with the default container images first. _______________________________________________ Dev mailing list -- dev@xxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to dev-leave@xxxxxxx
