Hi sheng qui,

I would advise to upgrade to the latest pacific first. And if the issue is still reproducible - please share more details about the test case and bluestore volumes layout, e.g. is bluefs volume standalone or shared? Are there any custom settings? And so on..

OSD log with debug-bluefs set to 20 (and debug-bluestore=20 if bluefs is at shared volume) would be helpful as well (unless it takes tons of gigs...)

Thanks,

Igor

Hi,

We got an allocator assert while running some tests on bluefs, the allocator used is the default one "hybrid". The call stack is like this:

The version of ceph code we used is v16.2.6. we did a little search on google, seems some others also meet similar issues discussed on this page: https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/52804.

May I ask if there's any fix or suggestions?

Thanks
