Hi Vallari,

We are currently gathering projects from throughout the community for the upcoming round.

Since I don't know what the projects will be and what kind of tasks the mentors of those projects will have applicants do to put together an application I can't help you out much.

I will reach out to you once we have projects up around the end of February.

Best,
Ali

Hey Laura,

I see, I'll keep an eye out for it. Thank you!
Any tips on starting early? What can I explore and work on at this point?

Hi Vallari,

Ceph is currently in the process of applying to GSoC and coming up with project ideas. I know that projects are due by Friday February 18th, so you will likely see more information about projects on the Google Summer of Code website by then.

I've cc'd Ali Maredia to this email since he might be able to provide more details.

Hello everyone,

I'm Vallari Agrawal, a third year computer science undergrad student. I want to contribute to Ceph and apply for Google Summer of Code 2022.
Can someone guide me where to get started— information about projects picked for GSoC'22 idea-list and issues/tickets that I could pick to start contributing?

Regards,
Vallari
