All, A fairly short CLT this week, mostly focused on the Quincy branching and test status. - Upgraded the gibba cluster[1] to the Quincy branch, but ran into an issue with the manager understanding PGStats messages. Fixing that and working on why our existing upgrade tests didn't flag it. - How are the tests; when can we do an rc? Things looking reasonable, but no target yet and a few backports expected that didn't make last week's cutoff. - The user/dev meeting is tomorrow, https://pad.ceph.com/p/ceph-user-dev-monthly-minutes - An issue came up with "arrow" packages, which was a late-breaking RGW dependency that's not present on Ubuntu (or Debian?). RGW team is looking at workarounds and we're reaching out to distro contacts to discuss options. - Outreachy and Google Summer of Code are coming up soon, so get ready — major changes to GSoC, which is no longer limited to students [1]: https://wiki.sepia.ceph.com/doku.php?id=hardware:gibba We decided late last year to dedicate these to a longer-running dedicated test environment, rather than additional test throughput. -Greg _______________________________________________ Dev mailing list -- dev@xxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to dev-leave@xxxxxxx
