cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvs login
(enter "anonymous" as the password)
cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvs co -d sasl sasl
