What/Who else shall authenticate in a lmtp-Connection than Postfix?

no one

What else uses lmtp to deliver Mails to your Cyrus-Imapd?

I think, I don't understand this.

everything works fine with cyrus (imap/pop/sieve/lmtp) reading all user stuff from saslauthd

saslauthd reads users datas from openldap

postfix read data from openldap

... ok till here?

good

THEN, i closed "ANONYMOUS read access" on the ldap (openldap) server

so i had to create a user for saslauth (on the ldap) with read access permission

and one for postfix

...

imap works, pop3s works, sieve works, postfix sasl works... lmtp DOESN NOT WORK

it seems not to have access to the ldap... like it tries to bypass the saslauthd daemon and goes anonimously to try to read the data from the ldap...

that's the problem
