Invalid module format

Hi folks!

Imagine you do a full system setup, load and compile loop-AES-v3.2f.tar.bz2 with no errors at all and finally result right here:
$ insmod: error inserting '/lib/modules/2.6.28-11-generic/extra/loop.ko': -1 Invalid module format

Yes, I ran depmod before and I also checked for error messages during compile process. It seems to be something stupid, wrong kernel headers or so. Any clue?

Best regards,
Peter
