The optimizations work for AES128 and AES256. When you upgrade from a 
previous version of loop-aes you will feel the increase of speed and the 
drop of cpu load while reading/writing from encrypted media. To make use 
of these features you need an AMD64 CPU and a 64-bit kernel. 
Even without figures and statistics: It´s impressive and worth trying.
