Hi!
I´d just like to hear if someone ever had some files on the disk that are
not eraseable, even by root. Anyone?
It´s some time ago that I installed UT2004 and due to some openGL crap it
crashed. However, I losetuped the partition and did a fsck -f -v /dev/loop3.
Fsck found lots or errors and corrected them. I lost some files and found
some crap in the lost+found folder. Most of that was erasable with rm -r *
and away with it:-) Unfortunatley some files remained.
The astonishing thing about these is that I, as root, am not the owner of
them and second, I do not have the permission to write in the folders
containing them or to the file itself. Unbelievable, right?
Chown says that it can´t change the ownership. It´s less than 400MB so I
left it in the same folder. Fsck has no problems with this situation but I
would like to use these 400MB again.
For the interested the attachment shows an l -R of the affected area.
