I hope that mainline folks who might read this take it to heart that, in the opinion of this user, after a lot of practical testing, loop-aes provides a better and more stable crypto interface that that available in cryptoapi, and that I hope to see it merged into the mainline 2.6 kernels. At rayServers we certainly will only use loop-aes, given the resistance to the watermark attack, the simplicity of encrypted swap, and a stable losetup across a range of kernels.
