Thanks for the info.
   From the /proc/cpuinfo it seems that this cpu is based on core
microarchitecture. In such case the P4-clockmod driver is not recommended. The
P4-clockmod driver is mainly for the cpu based on P4 architecture. 
   So the acpi-cpufreq driver is used on this box instead of p4-clockmod.
