Below is an excerpt from RH knowledgebase article: DOC-69758 "A product we use requires shared storage and GFS is recommended by our vendor. They say: "Please note that GFS2 have unresolvable performance issue with EMS." Are you aware of any performance problems possible with GFS2 and Tibco EMS?" Resolution section states: "Red Hat believe that GFS2 is suitable to use with Tibco EMS application." "At a discussion between Red Hat Resilient Storage developers and Tibco, a verbal agreement was reached that GFS2 is suitable for Tibco EMS applications going forward." I have RHCS running with EMS+GFS2 and so far no issues. That being said, I've read about TIBCO's recommendation to avoid GFS2. Can you elaborate on "issues" you had with EMS/GFS2 configuration? -----Original Message----- From: linux-cluster-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:linux-cluster-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steven Whitehouse Sent: Monday, February 13, 2012 4:38 AM To: linux clustering Subject: Re: Tibco EMS on GFS2 Hi, On Fri, 2012-02-10 at 18:32 +0100, Laszlo Beres wrote: > Hello, > > is there anybody here running Tibco EMS with GFS2? Please open a ticket with our support team if you are a Red Hat customer. We are keen to ensure that people don't run into such issues, but we'll need a bit more information in order to investigate, Steve. -- Linux-cluster mailing list Linux-cluster@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-cluster -- Linux-cluster mailing list Linux-cluster@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-cluster
