No, the static IPs aren't cluster resources, they should be set the
usual way using ifcfg-<interface> files or whatever your distro uses.
So how do you monitor link then? :)
You monitor it on one of the virtual IP resources that will be attached
onto the same physical interface (i.e. on the same subnet).
