Hi,

Let's say thin provisioned and no, no fast-diff and object map enabled. As I see this is a requirements to be able to use "du".

Depending on your Ceph release you might need to enable rbdstats.

Are you after provisioned, allocated, or both sizes?  Do you have object-map and fast-diff enabled?  They speed up `rbd du` massively.
