If you use kernel client you don't need ceph.conf

That's what the documentation implies, but...


Just setup fstab like this (this is example for msgr2 cluster only),
for example for CentOS Stream kernel:

172.16.16.2:3300,172.16.16.3:3300,172.16.16.4:3300:/folder /srv/folder
ceph
name=client_name,secret=<client_secret>,dirstat,ms_mode=prefer-crc,_netdev

... the options I want to set from https://docs.ceph.com/en/nautilus/cephfs/client-config-ref/ aren't listed as possible mount options at https://docs.ceph.com/en/nautilus/man/8/mount.ceph/#options . 'conf' is.
