I seem to recall this coming up before when bluestore was new, and if
I remember correctly the answer was "no", it is not like the journal
for filestore where the journal empties itself and can later be lost
as long as no writes were ongoing.
The WAL (and DB) for bluestore seem to have more important roles than
just being a small place to offload incoming writes.
