Octopus dashboard displaying the wrong OSD version

Hello,
I recently upgraded our Luminous ceph cluster to Nautilus. Everything seemed to go well.

Today I started upgrading from Nautilus to Octopus. I am midway through the upgrade and I noticed that although using ‘ceph versions shows the correct osd version information for each OSD, the ceph dashboard is showing the incorrect version for some of the upgraded OSD’s. The dashboard is showing version ‘12.2.13’ for several of my hosts.

root@hqceph1:# ceph versions

{

    "mon": {

        "ceph version 15.2.13 (c44bc49e7a57a87d84dfff2a077a2058aa2172e2) octopus (stable)": 3

    },

    "mgr": {

        "ceph version 15.2.13 (c44bc49e7a57a87d84dfff2a077a2058aa2172e2) octopus (stable)": 2

    },

    "osd": {

        "ceph version 14.2.22 (ca74598065096e6fcbd8433c8779a2be0c889351) nautilus (stable)": 222,

        "ceph version 15.2.13 (c44bc49e7a57a87d84dfff2a077a2058aa2172e2) octopus (stable)": 48

    },

    "mds": {},

    "rgw": {

        "ceph version 14.2.22 (ca74598065096e6fcbd8433c8779a2be0c889351) nautilus (stable)": 1

    },

    "overall": {

        "ceph version 14.2.22 (ca74598065096e6fcbd8433c8779a2be0c889351) nautilus (stable)": 223,

        "ceph version 15.2.13 (c44bc49e7a57a87d84dfff2a077a2058aa2172e2) octopus (stable)": 53

I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue…I am in the middle of this upgrade (48 of the 222 osd’s have been upgraded) and I would like to continue with the upgrade but do not want to proceed if there is a larger issue of some sort.

Some of the hosts are showing the correct version (5.2.13) in the Dashboard and I am not sure why the dashboard would be displaying different results than the CLI.

Screenshot attached.

Thanks in advance,
Shain
