The venue was confirmed by the local team in Beijing during the week
between the Christmas and the New Years Day, when most people were out
for the Holidays.

Can tell you that the CFP is receiving a lot of proposals and our
committee will have to work hard to read all them and chose the best
for the schedule. :)
