Now I do like the sound of this :-)

I will have to do some more reading up on this. Is this because you are
using OSPFv3 where the PTP links use the ipv6 link local address, or is
there some other magic going on here?

I'm looking at the Dell Sxxxx-ON switches which we can get in a Cumulus
version. Any pro's and con's of using Cumulus vs old school switch OS's you
may have come across?
