Hi, this ubuntu 16 is in fact not ( fully ) on systemd itself. So what ever is wrong, ceph might probably not to be responsible. I hope the ubuntu people will finish the switch to systemd fully until the final release. Otherwise this release is anyway not really useful, if again its mixed. -- Mit freundlichen Gruessen / Best regards Oliver Dzombic IP-Interactive mailto:info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Anschrift: IP Interactive UG ( haftungsbeschraenkt ) Zum Sonnenberg 1-3 63571 Gelnhausen HRB 93402 beim Amtsgericht Hanau Geschäftsführung: Oliver Dzombic Steuer Nr.: 35 236 3622 1 UST ID: DE274086107 Am 10.04.2016 um 17:39 schrieb hp cre: > Hello all, > > I was just installing jewel 10.1.0 on ubuntu xenial beta 2. > I got an error when trying to create a mon about failure to find command > 'initctl' which is in upstart. > Tried to install upstart, then got an error 'com.ubuntu...' not found. > > Anyway, i thought that with jewel release it would support systemd on > ubuntu xenial like it said in the release notes?! > > Anyone has any input on this matter? > > Thanks, > > > > _______________________________________________ > ceph-users mailing list > ceph-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx > http://lists.ceph.com/listinfo.cgi/ceph-users-ceph.com > _______________________________________________ ceph-users mailing list ceph-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.ceph.com/listinfo.cgi/ceph-users-ceph.com
