How to use ceph-deploy when building from source?

Hi All,

I am trying to use ceph-deploy to deploy my cluster but it tries to download the rpms which i don't want, however what i want is using ceph-deploy to use my local git repo.

I have compiled the code and did "make install" but  starting monitor from ceph-deploy fails with 

Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "/usr/local/bin/ceph", line 67, in <module>

    import rados

ImportError: No module named rados

Am I missing something here ?

Any pointers appreciated.
