In other news, my min_size was set to 1, so the same fix might not apply to me. Instead I set the pool size from 2 to 1, then back again. Looks like the end result is merely going to be that the down+incomplete get converted to incomplete. :/ I'll let you (and future googlers) know. Thanks!
