try to setup bcache or flashcache on top of the rdb-device.

With a Intel S37000 caching SSD-disk, we got the following fio results agains a bcache'd rbd device:

        bs=4K-4K/4K-4K, ioengine=libaio, iodepth=1      Write: 4.5 MB/sec (1132 IOPS)   Read: 48 MB/sec (12073 IOPS)
        bs=4K-4K/4K-4K, ioengine=libaio, iodepth=2      Write: 112 MB/sec (28179  IOPS) Read: 54 MBsec ( 13662 IOPS)
        bs=4K-4K/4K-4K, ioengine=libaio, iodepth=8      Weite: 181 MB/sec (45469)       Read: 200 MB/sec (44931  IOPS)

        bs=1M-1M/1M-1M, ioengine=libaio, iodepth=1      Weite: 125 MB                   Read: 143 MB
        bs=1M-1M/1M-1M, ioengine=libaio, iodepth=2      Weite: 232 MB                   Read: 330 MB

(Ceph cluster: 3 Nodes, 10GBit front, 10GBit backend network, 8 OSDs/node, 2 journal SSD/Node)
