Basically the Debian qemu maintainers won't re-enable RBD support until
the Debian Ceph packages are up to the task and thus present in Jessie and
the respective Wheezy backports.

Other than poking James Page, it might be a good idea for inktank to make
sure to not only release .deb packages in their on repository but to also
ensure that Debian (and consequently Ubuntu) packages are in a well
maintained and working condition.
