swap on rbd volume

Hello

Are there any known problems with using rbd volume as swap? I would like to create swap file on rbd volume with ext4 filesystem which has a parent rbd volume:

# rbd info volume-f3e2ba2d-be66-4090-8acf-edcfbe87eada
rbd image 'volume-f3e2ba2d-be66-4090-8acf-edcfbe87eada':
size 8192 MB in 1024 objects
        order 23 (8192 KB objects)
        block_name_prefix: rbd_data.8747238e1f29
        format: 2
        features: layering
        parent: 373762ea-b64f-41c4-ae6e-3c32e20b8cbd@snap
        overlap: 4096 MB

Will it be much faster if swap was a separate volume instead of file in filesystem?

regards
