+1. Our Ceph boxes are firewalled from the Internet at large and installing from a local mirror is faster and simpler than trying to go through a proxy. I'm currently using wget but that's not very friendly since the web server hosting the repo doesn't issue last-modified headers so I end up downloading everything every time.
