Good point. I forgot to disclose that for our grizzly testing, instead of a full package installation,  I only copied the 1.5 version of qemu-system-x86_64 binary to our ubuntu 12.04 nova hosts with /usr/bin/kvm linked to it. Maybe that is why I didn't see the same errors as Wolfgang saw.

Prier to 1.5 binary, we have the stock piled qemu/kvm bundled with 12.04.
