We discussed train point releases in the Ceph Leadership team meeting this morning. People are interested; the major concern is whether the (very small!) team of backport volunteers can wrangle enough time on a predictable basis to make it viable, or else expand to enough people. If anybody's interested in contributing more to Ceph, joining that team is a great way to learn about random bits of the code (with plenty of support; you can always tag a lead to do it if the backport is too complicated), interact with the team on irc, and make a very real difference to our users and dev teams! (Perhaps something like that should go out on the ceph-users list as well, if we put out a call for more volunteers?) -Greg > > - Ken > -- > To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe ceph-devel" in > the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe ceph-devel" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
