The latest master ceph version 13.0.1-3071-g2f05d2d (2f05d2d39929fd15b63c2f300f2f0aa1785ac809) mimic (dev) works fine with ceph-client/testing and an old 3.12 based upstream kernel on which we regularly test for backwards compatibility. Ubuntu 4.4.0-116-generic kernel however barfs with libceph: corrupt full osdmap (-22) epoch 13 off 293 (ffff880427a22145 of ffff880427a22020-ffff880427a22bb8) I'll take a look.
