Version > 7 worked fine for a long time. <snip> BTW, printer is a Canon BJC-4550 bubble jet photo quality, wide. Supported in cups with a similar entry, bjc-800.ppd. As stated, worked fine prior to the 8.1 acroread install, and after removal or 8.1.
