I have tested all Centos variants, and betas, from 2.1 on, as to FTP installs, as that is my principal method, from loop mounted ISOs -- they work. period. There is a minor change on groups.xml when loop mounting ISOs with centos 4, and 4.5, but that is addressed in the scripts referred to at:
