What kind of strage dependenct does openoffice have that it needs tomcat5:

system-config-bind is even worse: after installing all those packages for dependency:

alsa-lib audiofile avahi avahi-glib esound gamin gnome-keyring gnome-mime-data gnome-mount gnome-python2 gnome-python2-bonobo gnome-python2-canvas gnome-python2-gnomevfs gnome-vfs2 libart_lgpl libbonobo libbonoboui libdaemon libgnome libgnomecanvas libgnomeui libxslt pyorbit shared-mime-info

it doesn't work because is still missing xorg-x11-xauth (with it's dependency libXmu) and some fonts (which bring to the system another full load of packages).

I find confusing to have a server application (tomcat5) needed on a desktop environment and the other way around desktop applications needed to manage an headless server (what do I need audio for, on my dns server????)

Is this inherited from Fedora (as RHEL takes things from there)?
