centos 5 GUI disable update agent upper right

Fred,

Thanks, I was familiar with chkconfig and I looked there.
After I right clicked and and selected QUIT on the GUI for the update icon
I looked in /etc/init.d and the only thing there that looks pertinant is yum-updatesd
However, again after I elected to GUI the GUI icon for updates (so its gone)
a ps ax | grep yum still showed the yum-updatesd process running.

Is this the same process I a interested in? I was just wanting to confirm before I
go shutting off "chkconfig yum-updatesd off"
