Yes, it does.

I have a nvidia quadro something (64Mb) and it works perfectly on
CentOS 4.92 AMD64. You need the kernel headers to compile the driver.
If you use the binary package from nvidia.com the procedure is exactly
the same as in any other version of Linux. 

I am using DVI so I didn't even have to configure the monitor, it just
worked :)
