This is new(s) to me. Could you give me a pointer for this? Without realizing this, I closed some ports on certain samba servers to prevent annoying log entries.
Short of showing you the ports lists microsoft uses for filesharing, I don't have any doco on this. It was passed down to me a while back, and I have no authentic documentation about it.
