qmail is outdated. qmail doesn't check for available users before
accepting a mail and thus always sends bounces. qmail isn't available

nothing beats qmail's dot-qmail delivery mechanism. I would not put
plain qmail on an mx host but I definitely would not write it off for
other mail uses.
