[CentOS] centos 4.3 alpha cd iso problems

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

good day all ...

i've started playing around with 4.3 alpha on some ES40 systems. first. the cd iso
images all have the incorrect md5sums. i've downloaded them twice from two different
mirrors. they are consistent between mirrors. here are the md5sums i get:

af45445778616a7d06440fc5d42fcacb centos-4.3-alpha-disc1.iso
9e0a8dc5e5dfbd276fd50caa40428df0 centos-4.3-alpha-disc2.iso
2d9acc0ebe3528fc5b1265235576160f centos-4.3-alpha-disc3.iso
035fd4515ac889676f3a662855e364c6 centos-4.3-alpha-disc4.iso

and from the MD5SUMS.cd file:

72d135f1bc2c06e6a535af1905f7c916 centos-4.3-alpha-disc1.iso
8fa0510f6d906bf834629c62d2aede39 centos-4.3-alpha-disc2.iso
dfb75e71c34ec8b1caeca65f72d3d869 centos-4.3-alpha-disc3.iso
f8711eb928fc91671633793a7586a166 centos-4.3-alpha-disc4.iso

for grins i tried to boot disc1 but it completely failed to boot at all.

is there a specific place to discuss the alpha port? or is this the correct
channel?
