No, I mean there is sometimes a variable for mail format too:

# crontab -l
CONTENT_TYPE="text/plain; charset=utf-8"
MAILFROM=webmaster@xxxxxx
MAILTO=Alexander.Farber@xxxxxxx
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
PGHOST=/tmp
#minute hour    mday    month   wday    command
