I found the best way to get yum working was to manually upgrade yum
along with its dependencies and then do a yum upgrade to upgrade to
CentOS 4.2. With the high traffic, it still bombs a few times. But it
doesn't take as long. The new Yum 2.4 is way faster than Yum in CentOS
4.1.
