Once you have a base copy you'd probably want to rsync.  Maybe
there would be a way to split the difference on the version
rollouts where you bittorrent the isos or dvd image (which
you'd want for subsequent installs anyway), then go back
to normal yum mode.  But, that's a lot of extra steps
unless someone can script a yum-like upgrade straight from
the downloaded iso/dvd images (i.e. no reboot until it is
done - and it should work over the network, at least NFS).
