Fascinating thread but not really related to Centos...

perhaps ladies/gentlemen you would like to take this thread offline, and 
then you can validate emails to your hearts content.....

Or perhaps use spamassasin and mimedefang to filter out spam for 
you....and negate the use of such a whitelisting system
