[Centos] GRUB and Lilo problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

dear all,

I just installed CentOS on a machine with two identical disks. There was
a previous Debian in raid1 on disks. The boot manager was lilo. I just
created the swraid partitions via Anaconda, installed centos, but lilo
comes up with an error (L 99) which means that Grub didn't wipe the mbr.
The bad news: none of the mbr-s wiped. I tried to change disk order but
it didn't work too.
Just wanted to inform the list. I think I will go to rescue mode and
wipe it from grub shell.

bye,
Ago
