[Centos] LVM problems

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

My upgrade from Taolinux 1 to Centos 4 went smoothly, except for the
handling of LVM. I have one vg that I created in Taolinux and then did a
vgconvert -M2 in Centos 4. The problem is that I have to prefix every
lvm-command with "lvm", like in: lvm vgdisplay or else I get
"vgdisplay -- LVM driver/module not loaded?"
Also the lvol1 device is now /dev/mapper/<vgname>-lvol1 instead
of /dev/<vgname>/lvol1.
