[Centos] CentOS 4 and Dell RAC cards

Has anyone else tried to use CentOS 4 with a Dell Remote Access Card?
The 2.6 kernel doesn't like the way RAC card intercepts the keyboard
commands (but doesn't emulate a full keyboard) resulting in no input via
the remote console.

After searching google, some people have suggesting passing
i8042.dumbkdb=1, however, this results in input such as "roooooooottttt"
when trying to type.

Anyone have any other suggestions on how to get my remote console
working with CentOS 4 and a 2.6 kernel?
Thanks,

M. Gamble
