I've a problem with kudzu hardware detection powering down my UPS power
supply (Fideltronik Ares 1000) which is connected via a serial connection
- obviously this is bad (the power to the computer cuts out)... This
happens both during installation (I just unplugged it for the length of
the installation) and afterwards during boot time initialization - any
ideas what sort of magic param I should pass (and where) to keep kudzu
from checking the 1st (or is it second? :)) serial port?
