[Centos] USB and New Kernal 2.4.27

Hi All
	sure this is a small thing so here i do 
need to update my kernel to 2.4.27, but not sure why i have to hand load
my usb-uhci and ehci-hcd befor my USB starts to work not sure why i have
the modules conf right ( it works on under the default Kernel ) and
mount usbdevfs is ok too 

mount
usbdevfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbdevfs (rw)

/etc/modules.conf
> alias usb-controller usb-uhci
> alias usb-controller1 ehci-hcd


Note I'm Running Centos 3.3
