mv initrd-2.4.21-27.0.2.ELsmp.img initrd-2.4.21-27.0.2.ELsmp.img_orig copy 3w-9xxx.o for your system to /lib/modules/2.4.21-27.0.2.ELsmp/kernel/drivers/scsi make sure there is an entry in /etc/modules.conf like this: alias scsi_hostadapter1 3w-9xxx The entry: scsi_hostadapter1 in the above may be different.... run mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.4.21-27.0.2.ELsmp.img 2.4.21-27.0.2.Elsmp Now you have the driver install done try it by rebooting and see if the 9500 is mounted at boot time.
