Can't mount FAT32 partition

try without '-t vfat' and it will attempt to figure out the type by
itself.

This is a dual-boot machine and boots into Windows from hda1?

does Windows -> Start -> Settings -> Control Panels -> Administrative
Options -> Event Viewer -> System logs report anything on hard drive?
