Notes from the Field: Seroprevalence of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza A(H5) Virus Infections Among Bovine Veterinary Practitioners

Three veterinary practitioners had evidence of recent infection with avian influenza A(H5) virus, including two who reported no exposures to animals with known or suspected A(H5) infections and one who practiced in two U.S. states with no known avian influenza A(H5) virus-infected cattle at this time (Georgia and South Carolina).
