Among health care providers surveyed during September 2022–May 2023, one quarter (26%) reported mental distress severe enough to meet diagnostic criteria for mental disorders. Among these providers, only 38% reported seeking mental health care; 20% indicated that they did not need care despite severe symptoms.
The 2025 Recommended Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule features several updates, including a new MenB-4C (Bexsero) vaccination schedule, additional doses of 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine for people with weakened immune systems, and the addition of Vaxelis as a second preferred option for Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) vaccination in American Indian and Alaska Native infants.
The 2025 Adult Immunization Schedule features several updates, including a recommendation that lowers the age for pneumococcal vaccination from 65 to 50 years old, a recommendation for a second dose of 2024-2025 COVID-19 for adults ages 65 years and older, additional doses of 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine for people with weakened immune systems, and guidance for RSV vaccination for all adults ages 75 and older and adults ages 60–74 at increased risk of severe RSV disease.
